so she took her love for to gaze awhile among the field of barley. in his arms she fell as her hair came down among the fields of gold ~ sting

cover version by the remarkable eva cassidy.

before you losers jump at me and say that the lips don’t match the song, i’m telling you that the video is actually just a cut and paste from eva’s other performances. her amazing cover of this song was never captured on video and remains one of the greatest musical loss of this generation.

thus is my frame of mind these days. sometimes be tend to complicate ourselves and jump too quickly into conclusions. we need to remember that the simple things in life are those which are most capable of bringing us the greatest joys. one classical guitar. a few simple chords. the voice of an angel. an incredible set of lyrics.

my weekend – my last one month – had just been just too cluttered for my own good and filled with too may things i am not proud of at all. i need to clean up. most importantly of all things, my congested mind. speak less. listen more. hopefully see clearer.

i swear, in the days still left – we will walk in fields of gold.
